Meeting domestic demand for post-consumer resin (PCR)

Circulus contributes to the circular economy by recycling plastic to its highest and best use

Currently, domestic infrastructure is not in place to handle the more than 46.3 million tons* of plastic generated in the U.S. each year, but Circulus is working with brand owners (consumer packaged goods companies), retailers, resin producers, converters, and packaging manufacturers to change that. Circulus provides a domestic solution for upcycling post-consumer recycled resin at scale and maintaining its highest quality for repeated use.

Let’s work together

Diverting plastic from landfills, incinerators, and the earth’s oceans takes commitment. Explore the ways we can work together to meet this challenge. Our facilities exemplify our understanding of the sustainability challenges that brand owners, retailers, resin producers, converters, and packaging manufacturers face when it comes to the flexible plastics used for plastic bags, shrink film, pouches, packaging and more.

Upcycling and the Circular Economy

Demand for products containing recycled content continues to rise

Circulus has developed a world-class solution to produce post-consumer resin from recycled LDPE (low-density polyethylene).
