Circulus’ facilities are designed to reduce the company’s carbon footprint with an infrastructure built to meet the domestic demand for post-consumer resin (PCR). Our facilities are environmentally and socially responsible as the health, safety, and welfare of our employees and surrounding communities are our top priority.
Circulus is expanding with a widespread footprint of recycling plants to keep distribution costs and emissions low. Our first facility in Riverbank, California is already meeting the demands of supplying high quality post-consumer resin. The facility produces 40+ million pounds of PCR annually.
Recycled Plastics
Circulus has secured significant financial backing from investors that are committed to supporting the decarbonization of the industrial economy, including the development of circular plastics solutions. Circulus is majority owned by Ara Partners, a private equity firm that specializes in decarbonization investments. Ara Partners founded Circulus with David Hudson in 2019. Funds managed by Apollo Global Management provided the company with significant structured capital in 2022 to further the company’s growth across North America.
